This course prepares individuals to provide care for up to 24 hours while awaiting emergency services.
The course is primarily intended for outdoor leaders (such as professional guides), individuals who undertake extended excursions in remote wilderness areas (including forestry workers), and/or those who organize recreational outings (day camp counselors and guides).
More than half (50%) of this training will take place outdoors in a non-urban setting, allowing you to experience realistic scenarios.
